| California Police Activities League |

The California Police Activities League (PAL) is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization founded over 30 years ago by a group of police officers, spearheaded by San Francisco Police Detective, Charles Ellis. These officers from various cities around the state would come together to meet biannually and share ideas, information and procedures from their local city PAL programs and to promote the PAL concept. |

| National Police Activities League |

National PAL is a non-profit organization formed to provide assistance to the various PAL programs located throughout the United States. Headquartered in North Palm Beach, FL, National PAL constitutes a centralized organization for the channeling of information, instruction, grant opportunities and all other matters common to such programs so as to further and promote their purpose of providing guidance to the youth in educational, athletic and recreational activities. |

| Junior Giants Organization |
 |
Junior Giants is a youth baseball program that provides self-esteem and values training, along with baseball equipment, uniforms and instructional service, to boys and girls 8-13 years old who otherwise could not afford to play organized baseball. Stanislaus County PAL is proud to work with the Junior Giants to provide youth with the opportunity to learn baseball and have fun in a safe, supervised environment.

| Junior NBA & Junior WNBA programs |

The backbone of the Jr. NBA and Jr. WNBA are the local recreation administrators who run youth basketball leagues in the United States, Canada and abroad. The Jr. NBA and Jr. WNBA is designed to enhance the recreational youth basketball experience, not to replace it or compete with it. The League Support Program features valuable tools and resources and a comprehensive curriculum that is the foundation of the Jr. NBA and Jr. WNBA initiative. This one-of-a-kind series of informMational guides and booklets addresses the youth sports landscape from the perspective of coaches, players and parents. The manuals are written by Rick Wolff, nationally-recognized youth sports expert, author and radio show host. | San Jose Sharks- Sharks & Parks NHL Street Program |

Created in 1991, Sharks & Parks is a street hockey program that can be played either indoors or outdoors with all hockey equipment being provided by the Sharks. A number of PAL’s member chapters including Stanislaus County PAL from around the state are currently running youth street hockey programs. Stanislaus County PAL is very excited to be partnered with the San Jose Sharks in providing youth with the opportunity to become familiar with hockey and make it more accessible. |
