***8th Annual SCPAL Charity Golf
Classic***
On Saturday April 25, 2009 SCPAL
held it's largest annual fund
raiser, the 8th Annual SCPAL
Charity Golf
Classic.It was a great day
of Fun, Golf, Food, Drinks &
Socializing for all that
participated. We would like to
thank all of the participants,
sponsors and donors. We have
included some photos from the
tournament.

***The Coming of the Pool***
After about 6 years, the new
Regional Water Safety Training
Center in Empire is almost complete.
Stanislaus County PAL has been a
very important partner in the
preparation of the Center and has
been selected to manage the pool and
the Water Safety training Programs.
Here are some photos of the
construction of the Center.

In
support of the Water Safety Training
Center, a grass roots fund raising
effort has sought out to raise
revenue for management of the Center
by selling 4" and 6" tiles to be
painted by the purchaser and/or to
be painted by the children of the
Empire Community.The tiles
will then be utilized as the back
wall of the outdoor rinse-off shower
area. Below are some photos of the
ongoing tile fund raiser.

"PAL Kid of the Month"
Sabrina Cota
is SCPAL Kid of the Month for
March/April 2009. She is always well
behaved and always takes pride in
helping others. She is great friend
to every student who comes in
contact with her. She is an
exemplary student and is a pleasure
to have in ASP here in Empire.
