General Donations- These are donations that can be made throughout the year for just general contributions to Stanislaus County PAL.
For additional information on these contributions please read below.
Our goal from our general donations is to raise enough funds to open a new Youth Center, and to offset costs for sport leagues, field trips, annual Christmas program, and other cost related recreational activities to our programs. At Stanislaus County PAL, 100% of all donations/contributions received will pay for direct services for our youth. As with any budget, needs often exceed available funding, and this is true with our organization.
In 2006, PAL provided services to over 200,000 youth in Stanislaus County. PAL helps the community, and it helps the kids in the community. Your present contribution and/or past generosity will help to continue P.A.L.’s after school programs. Currently, PAL operates seven park sites, twenty-one school sites, and three federal housing locations. In addition, PAL provides sports programs such as soccer, baseball, social and educational field trips to Great America, Water World USA, Monterey Bay Aquarium, Marine World Six Flags, bowling trips, theater presentations, and much more.
The Stanislaus County Police Activities League (Stanislaus County PAL) is a non-profit Corporation Federal Tax I.D. # 77-0333848, founded in 1992 and its mission is to provide recreational, social, educational and cultural activities for at-risk youth ages 6 through 17 years of age throughout Stanislaus County. No child is turned away for lack of financial resources.
Our PAL staff works closely together to improve the quality of life for our at-risk and non-at-risk children. Prevention measures can reduce the probability of escalating juvenile crime rates, drug, and alcohol use among our youth. With your financial support, PAL can accomplish this goal and make a positive difference in their lives of our youth.
